Bela Padilla made waves online after her sexy photos for Preview.ph were released for its digital issue. The actress sizzled in her provocative yet classy photos, confidently showing off a lot of skin and proving her bashers wrong.
Going topless in one of her shots, Bela was the epitome of grace and confidence. Wearing nothing but a pair of vintage mom jeans and statement tassel earrings, the actress looked nothing short of perfection in her now-iconic photo.
Lately, Bela became the subject of bashing and body-shaming when she posted bikini photos of herself while vacationing in Amanpulo. A lot of netizens pointed out how the actress looked ‘fat’ because of her belly. She fiercely fired back at her bashers in a tweet:
“Shocked by the number of comments on my IG post pointing out that I have a belly. It holds in my organs that I need to live. It has a layer of muscles that I worked hard for in the gym and a layer of fat from the food I enjoy to eat.”
As if to make her scathing clapback burn her bashers more, she added another tweet, writing:
“Would it have made you more comfortable if I edited my photo to perfection? Because I could have easily done that. But what message does it send to the younger ones? That our photos are only likeable when we’re perfect in photos? Not from me. NEVER.”
Bela Padilla was the brains behind the script of “Last Night” (2017), and the star of “Meet Me in St. Gallen” (2018). Aside from being a critically-acclaimed actress, Bela is also a film producer and scriptwriter. In the feature article written about her for Preview, she revealed just how much she loves her job – so much that she would marry it if only she could.
The “Meet Me in St. Gallen” actress shared:
“I would like to be remembered as someone who never left anything to chance. I think that should be the responsibility of every person we see on TV-to never leave everything behind.”
Clearly, Bela isn’t fazed by haters’ comments on her body.
